Learn practical tips on such topics as: diagnosing and treating eosinophilic esophagitis, evaluation and management of the dyspeptic patient, determining which agents to stop or continue in the peri-endoscopic setting, identifying indications for endoscopic mucosal resection, understanding recent advances in viral hepatitis, and a review of the medical and endoscopic management of patients with acute GI bleeding and portal hypertension. You’ll also learn treatment options in difficult to treat ulcerative colitis, gain an understanding of the clinical utility of serologies and metabolities in IBD, review management strategies in the post-operative IBD patient, analyze the evidence surrounding potential side effects of PPIs, and formulate a treatment plan for patients with non-responsive celiac and identify associated diseases. Leading physicians will also discuss ways to maximize colonoscopic screening and provide an understanding of the impact of alternatives to colonoscopy. Plus you’ll learn how to get meaningful use out of your EHR.
